One of our clients, a well-known bank in the industry is looking for a consultant to cover a mission within the Finance & Fund Support department.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the preparation and ensure the follow-up and finalization of financial reports within the respective deadlines.
- Perform the review of annual and semi-annual accounts of the funds
- Prepare electronic sets of financial statements and ensure their timely filing with the respective Authorities and clients
- Liaise with auditors, the custodian bank and third parties to plan and coordinate audits (budgets included), and ensure the respect of the planning
- Monitor and coordinate the preparation of different legal reports (The Long Form Reports of funds…)
- Monitor, coordinate and support the preparation and timely filing of regulatory reports with Luxembourg and foreign Authorities
- Accomplish various tasks in a timely and qualitative manner
- Provide administrative support and complete all requested control checklists
- Make proof of sense and sound judgment towards risk awareness
- Inform the Department Head of all risks of error and actual errors as soon as detected and evaluate their impact
Essential skills & Qualifications:
- License or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- Experience in a similar function in Management Company or a previous experience of fund audit in a Big4 company or audit firm.
- Knowledge of fund accounting, financial markets and instruments, especially on LUXGAAP, USGAAP and IFRS accounting
- Investment fund and domiciliary agency business knowledge
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Suite, NeoXam, GP3 will be an asset
- Fluent in English and in French
- Capable of dealing with facts and figures
